Daily check-ins help you and your health professional understand your overall wellbeing by tracking key wellness indicators each day.
What You Can Track
Each check-in captures a snapshot of how you're feeling:

Energy Level: Rate your energy from 1 to 10
Stress Level: Rate your stress from 1 to 10
Water Intake: Track how much water you've had

Kinecta can remind you to complete your daily check-in. When a reminder appears, you can:
Complete now: Go straight to the check-in form
Snooze: Get reminded again later
Dismiss: Skip the reminder for today
Pro Tip
Try to complete your check-in at the same time each day for the most consistent tracking. Your coach can see your check-in data to better understand how you're feeling overall.
Track pain across different body regions to help your health professional understand your condition and adjust your programmes accordingly.
Interactive Body Heatmap
The pain tracker uses an interactive body diagram where you can select exactly where you're experiencing pain. Tap or click on a body region to log pain for that area.
Available Body Regions
Neck
Left/Right Shoulder
Left/Right Elbow
Left/Right Wrist
Chest
Abdomen
Upper/Lower Back
Left/Right Hip
Left/Right Knee
Left/Right Ankle
Logging Pain

Rate the pain intensity from 1 to 10
Select the pain type (sharp, dull, burning, aching, etc.)
Note the onset (when it started) and duration
Click Save
Pain Trends
View pain trend charts showing how your pain levels have changed over time. This helps you and your health professional identify patterns and track recovery progress.
Note
Your coach can view your pain tracking data from their dashboard. This information is especially helpful for physiotherapists and exercise physiologists designing rehabilitation programmes.
Consistency is what gets results, so Kinecta celebrates it. Streaks and achievements show how regularly you're turning up, day after day.
How Streaks Work
Streaks count consecutive days of activity. Daily check-ins, training, and meal logging each have their own streak, so a quiet week in the gym won't wipe out a strong run of check-ins. Your current streaks appear on your Dashboard and on your Profile's Fitness tab.
Grace Days
Life happens. One missed day per week won't break your streak: the streak bridges a single gap each week. Miss two days in the same week and the streak resets.
Evening Entries Count
A day only breaks a streak once it has fully passed. If you remember at 10 pm that you haven't checked in, you still have time.
Achievements
Achievements mark milestones along the way: your first check-in, a 7-day streak, your tenth workout, your first booked session and more. New badges celebrate with confetti, and your badge wall (Profile, Fitness tab) shows what you've earned and what's still to chase.
The Nutrition section helps you track your daily food intake and follow meal plans assigned by your health professional.
Accessing Nutrition
Navigate to Nutrition from the main menu.
Daily Nutrition Summary
At the top of the page, you'll see your daily progress:

Sell sessions, packs, and consultations directly through Kinecta, with payouts going straight to your bank account. The Payments hub (avatar menu, then Payments & Offerings) is where it all happens.
Setting Up Payouts
Setup is a one-time job:
Open Payments and click Set up payouts
Complete the short Stripe onboarding: confirm your identity and add your bank details
Once your account shows active, selling is switched on and clients can buy your offerings
How Payments Work
You are the merchant. When a client buys one of your offerings, Stripe processes the card payment and the payout goes straight to your bank account. Kinecta retains a small platform fee per sale; the rest is yours.
Note
Until your payout account shows active, your offerings can't be purchased. If Stripe asks for extra verification, finish it promptly so sales aren't held up.
Once payouts are set up, the Payments hub is where you decide what clients can buy, when they can book you, and how you appear in the trainer directory.
Creating Offerings
Offerings are what clients can buy:
Consultation: an intro session, often discounted or free
Single session: one PT session
Session pack: for example 10 sessions, with an optional validity period (such as 90 days)
For each offering, set the price (in AUD), the session length, and your cancellation window. Clients who cancel inside the window forfeit that session's credit. You can switch offerings on and off at any time, and price changes never affect packs clients have already purchased.
Setting Your Availability
In Payments, open Booking availability and add weekly windows (for example, Monday 6:00 am to 12:00 pm with 60-minute slots). Clients can only book inside these windows, and Kinecta automatically blocks any times that clash with your existing calendar events, so double bookings can't happen.
Booked sessions land on your calendar with the usual reminders and roll call attendance.
Your Trainer Profile
Also in Payments: your trainer profile. Set your headline, bio, specialties, years of experience, and whether you're taking new clients. Switch on Visible in directory when you're happy with it; members then see you in Find a Trainer, alongside your member rating.
Keep Specialties Accurate
Your specialties also feed your gym's lead-allocation matching. Accurate specialties mean you're put forward for the leads that suit you best.
Organisation owners and admins can manage their practice's account, members, and subscription from the Organisation settings.

For Gym Managers
Capturing PT Leads
Every gym on Kinecta gets a public intake form for personal training enquiries. Members don't need the app or a login to fill it in.
Your Intake Link
Open Leads (avatar menu, then Leads)
Click Copy intake link
Put the link where members will see it: a front-desk tablet, or a QR poster on the gym floor
The Questionnaire
Members answer a short questionnaire covering their goals, training experience, preferences, availability, and any medical notes. As soon as they submit, the lead lands in your pipeline, ready to allocate.
Manual Leads
Walk-ins and referrals can be added manually from the Leads page, so every enquiry ends up in one place.
Pro Tip
A QR poster near the weights area and a tablet at the front desk catch different members. Run both and compare how many leads each brings in.
The Gym Dashboard (avatar menu) shows your PT department at a glance:
New leads awaiting allocation, and your lead-to-client conversion rate
Upcoming sessions: booked sessions and consultations across your trainers
Revenue this month from session sales through the platform
No-shows and late cancellations, so you can spot patterns early
The trainer leaderboard: ratings, active clients, and upcoming sessions per trainer
Pro Tip
Check the dashboard at the start of each week. A rising no-show count or a stack of unallocated leads is much easier to fix when it's two days old, not two months.
Jesse is your personal AI coach, available 24/7 to answer questions, provide guidance, and log your day for you.
Accessing Jesse
Navigate to Jesse from the main menu (the sparkles icon; on your phone it's in the bottom bar), or click the Jesse button on your dashboard.
What Jesse Can Do For You
Jesse doesn't only chat. Ask, and Jesse takes care of it:
Daily check-ins: tell Jesse how you slept, your energy, mood, or any pain, and it's logged instantly. A green confirmation chip appears under Jesse's reply (for example, "Check-in logged")
Weight: say "I weighed 76.1 this morning" and it's recorded against today
Meals: describe what you ate, or use the photo button to snap your plate. Jesse estimates the calories and macros, checks them with you, then logs the meal
Your plan: ask "what's on today?" and Jesse reads your current programme and meal plan
Your streaks: ask "how are my streaks looking?" any time

Account & Billing
Go to the login page and click "Forgot Password". Enter your email address and follow the instructions in the reset email. Alternatively, if you're logged in, go to Profile > Account > Change Password.
Yes! While Kinecta is designed for professional-client relationships, you can use it independently to track your progress, log workouts and meals, set goals, and chat with Jesse AI.
Go to Profile > Settings and change the Measurement System setting. Your preference will apply to all weight and measurement displays throughout the app.
Kinecta offers Solo, Practice, Professional, and Enterprise plans. All plans include a 14-day free trial, and prices are in USD. See current pricing. Organisation owners can manage their subscription and billing from the Organisation Management page, including accessing the billing portal to update payment details.
Contact our support team at support@kinecta.io to request account deletion. We'll process your request in accordance with our data retention policies.
Yes. You can view all your data through the app. Shopping lists can be printed, and progress reports can be downloaded as PDFs. Contact support if you need a full data export.
Tracking & Wellness
Navigate to Tracking and select the Check-ins tab. Click New Check-in to log your mood, sleep hours, energy level, stress level, water intake, and medication/supplement usage. You can also complete check-ins from the reminder modal on your dashboard. See Daily Check-ins for full details.
Pain tracking lets you log pain across body regions using an interactive body diagram. Tap on the area where you feel pain, rate its intensity (1-10), select the pain type, and note when it started. Over time, you'll see trend charts showing how your pain levels change. See Pain Tracking for details.
Programmes & Training
Rehabilitation programmes are structured exercise plans designed for injury recovery. They use phase-based progression, with exercises becoming more challenging as you improve. Your health professional creates and assigns rehab programmes tailored to your specific condition. See Rehabilitation Programmes for details.
Progress reports are generated by health professionals from the Coach Console. They include weight trends, workout completion, meal plan adherence, goal progress, and check-in data. Reports can be downloaded as PDFs. See Client Progress Reports for details.
Message templates let coaches create reusable messages for common communications. You can create personal templates or organisation-wide templates, assign categories for easy organisation, and insert them quickly into any conversation. See Client Communication for details.
Coach Connections
Yes! You can connect with as many health professionals as you need. This is useful if you work with both a personal trainer and a dietitian, for example. Each professional can see your data and assign programmes.
When you remove a coach, they can no longer see your data or assign programmes to you. Any programmes they previously assigned will remain active until completed or removed. Your historical data remains intact.
When you join an organisation, you become part of a practice or business on Kinecta. Your organisation may assign you coaches, give you access to events, and manage your account. Roles include Owner, Admin, Coach, and Member. See Organisation Management for details.
Calendar & Events
Navigate to Calendar from the main menu to see all available events. Click on an event to view details, then click Register to join. If the event is full, you'll be added to a waitlist. See Calendar & Events for full details.
After attending an event, you may receive a feedback request. Rate the event from 1 to 5 stars and optionally add a comment about your experience. Your feedback helps health professionals improve their sessions.
Sessions & Payments
Payments are powered by Stripe. The trainer is the merchant: when a client buys a session, pack, or consultation, the payout goes straight to the trainer's bank account, and Kinecta retains a small platform fee per sale. See Getting Paid Through Kinecta for details.
Cancel before your trainer's cancellation window (usually 24 hours before the session) and your session credit is returned. Late cancellations forfeit the credit, because the trainer's time was held for you. See Booking Sessions with Your Trainer for details.
Each pack can have a validity period set by the trainer (for example, 90 days). If one applies, it's shown on the offering before you buy. Packs without a validity period don't expire.

Jesse has access to your profile information, including your goals, injuries, active programmes (training, nutrition, and rehab), recent workouts, check-in data, pain tracking data, and shared journal entries. This allows it to provide personalised advice. It does not have access to private journal entries.
Yes. Your conversations are saved to your account so you can pick them up on any device, and Jesse can only act on your own data: the check-ins, weight entries, and meals it logs are yours alone. See Jesse AI Coach for details.
Privacy & Security
No. Private journal entries are only visible to you. Only entries marked as "Shared" can be seen by your connected health professionals.
